Many natural tourist sites ranging from beaches, and waterfalls, to mountainous highlands, are all in East Java. For those who like adventure, check out the following 7 natural tourist attractions in East Java. Which ones have you visited?</p>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<h2>1. BROMO TENGGER SEMERU NATIONAL PARK </h2>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="wp-image-5808" src="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/3d2n-edited-scaled.jpeg" alt="" width="501" height="313" srcset="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/3d2n-edited-scaled.jpeg 2560w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/3d2n-edited-300x188.jpeg 300w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/3d2n-edited-1024x640.jpeg 1024w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/3d2n-edited-768x480.jpeg 768w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/3d2n-edited-1536x960.jpeg 1536w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/3d2n-edited-2048x1280.jpeg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 501px) 100vw, 501px" /></figure>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<p>It is undeniable that Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park is the most popular tourist destination for both local and foreign tourists. Many tourists are willing to leave in the night to go watch the sunrise at dusk. In addition to being the best spot to see the sunrise, in Bromo, you can get around using a jeep or riding a horse for those interested. Many photo spots offer beautiful views, such as <em>Pasir berbisik</em> , Teletubbies hills, and much more. Make sure you wear clothes that are warm enough!</p>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<h2>2. BALURAN NATIONAL PARK </h2>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img decoding="async" class="wp-image-5809" src="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/DSC_0585-01-1024x681.jpeg" alt="" width="525" height="349" srcset="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/DSC_0585-01-1024x681.jpeg 1024w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/DSC_0585-01-300x199.jpeg 300w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/DSC_0585-01-768x511.jpeg 768w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/DSC_0585-01-1536x1021.jpeg 1536w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/DSC_0585-01-2048x1362.jpeg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px" /></figure>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<p>Baluran National Park is commonly known as Indonesia&#8217;s Africa. This is because, during the dry season, the weather in Baluran becomes scorching and barren, like in Africa. You will find many animals roaming freely, such as deer, bulls, wild buffalo, and many more. You must be careful when you meet them, stay calm, and don&#8217;t flick. Not only that, but you will also find savanna, namely the Bekol savanna and Bama savanna. Don&#8217;t forget to wear a hat to protect your head from the hot sun! You can also use it to pose when taking pictures to make it more stylish!</p>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<h2>3. IJEN CRATER AND A WONDERFUL BLUE FIRE </h2>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img decoding="async" class="wp-image-5786" src="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG-20220825-WA0029-edited-1024x683.jpg" alt="Blue fire, Ijen Bromo Tour" width="549" height="366" srcset="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG-20220825-WA0029-edited-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG-20220825-WA0029-edited-300x200.jpg 300w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG-20220825-WA0029-edited-768x512.jpg 768w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG-20220825-WA0029-edited.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 549px) 100vw, 549px" /></figure>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<p>The blue fire in the Ijen crater is a target for local and foreign tourists. Many tourists come to see the beautiful and exotic scenery in the Ijen crater and the blue fire. There are only two places worldwide: in Iceland and Banyuwangi, East Java. But to get the full view must be at night. At that time, you can see a very unforgettable blue fire. The blue light that contrasts with the night sky adds to the exoticism of the blue fire itself.</p>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<h2>4. TUMPAK SEWU LUMAJANG</h2>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-5373" src="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/tumpak-sewu-1-1024x768.jpeg" alt="" width="547" height="410" srcset="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/tumpak-sewu-1-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/tumpak-sewu-1-300x225.jpeg 300w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/tumpak-sewu-1-768x576.jpeg 768w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/tumpak-sewu-1-1536x1152.jpeg 1536w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/tumpak-sewu-1-2048x1536.jpeg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 547px) 100vw, 547px" /></figure>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<p>Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is one of the leading destinations in Lumajang Regency, East Java. Here you can see an extraordinary view in the form of a row of waterfalls stretching like a curtain. However, it should be noted that the track to the location of this waterfall is quite dangerous. It will be safer if you enter through the official counter in Lumajang than through Malang. You also have to ensure you have enough stamina to reach the location because it will take approximately one hour on foot. Use appropriate footwear on slippery terrain, and be careful!</p>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<h2>5. BEACH PLENGKUNG BANYUWANGI</h2>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-5811" src="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Pantau-plengkung-2.jpg" alt="" width="441" height="238" srcset="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Pantau-plengkung-2.jpg 306w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Pantau-plengkung-2-300x162.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 441px) 100vw, 441px" />
<p> </p>
<figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Plengkung Beach</figcaption>
</figure>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<p>Plengkung beach is well known by tourists, even to foreign countries, because the waves are very suitable for surfing. It is even claimed to have one of the best waves in the world, by world surfers, to the point of being called G-Land. Its location in Purworejo, Kalipait, Tegaldlimo, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, is still part of the Alas Purwo National Park Area. So don&#8217;t be surprised if you walk along the coastline; you will see green forests lined up. The combination of the beach with the forest is terrific!</p>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<h2>6. PAPUMA BEACH JEMBER</h2>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="wp-image-5812" src="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Papuma.jpg" alt="" width="419" height="278" />
<p> </p>
<figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Tanjung Papuma</figcaption>

<p></p>
<p></p>
<p>This beach is one of the hidden gems in East Java. This white sand beach has clear water. The waves are pretty calm and safe if you want to swim on the beach. In addition to the clean beaches, this beach is also decorated with some large rocks and beautiful cliffs, which you can reach by using a ship. On the shore, fishermen commonly use many ships to find fish, and some are rented out to tourists who want to go around the coast for 20 minutes. Don&#8217;t forget to wear a life jacket and obey the rules!</p>
<p></p>
<p></p>
<h2>7. MADAKARIPURA WATERFALLS</h2>
<p></p>
<p></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">THE EXISTENCE OF NATIVE TRIBES IN MOUNT BROMO<br>SINCE THE 10TH CENTURY</h2>

<p><strong><a href="https://trippytriptour.com/" data-type="URL" data-id="https://trippytriptour.com/">Bromo Tengger Semeru</a></strong> National Park is the largest volcanic area in the province of East Java which has an extraordinary tourist attraction. Divided into four regions in Probolinggo, Lumajang, Pasuruan, and Malang. This national park not only presents its natural charm that spoils the eye of the tourist but the local wisdom and rich history are also added value to this one. The tourist destination.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image alignwide size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG_2122-01-1024x683.jpeg" alt="mount bromo tour package" class="wp-image-5795" srcset="https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG_2122-01-1024x683.jpeg 1024w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG_2122-01-300x200.jpeg 300w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG_2122-01-768x512.jpeg 768w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG_2122-01-1536x1024.jpeg 1536w, https://trippytriptour.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/IMG_2122-01-2048x1365.jpeg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>In this mountainous region, various folklore has been told orally and in writing. Also, those have accompanied the people who live in the surrounding area from generation to generation. One of them is the story of the indigenous tribes who inhabit the area of <strong><a href="https://trippytriptour.com/" data-type="URL" data-id="https://trippytriptour.com/">Mount Bromo</a></strong>. The tribe is known as the Tengger tribe. This certainly adds a unique side to <strong><a href="https://trippytriptour.com/" data-type="URL" data-id="https://trippytriptour.com/">Mount Bromo </a></strong>itself.</p>

<p>Besides being rich in the charm of natural beauty, Bromo has indigenous peoples and traditions that cannot be separated from one another. The indigenous tribes who inhabit the Bromo area are estimated to have existed since the 10th century. Judging from the archaeological aspect, the Tengger tribe has existed since before the Majapahit era. Not only from a story but several inscriptions from the Majapahit to the Singasari era show the existence of people who worship Mount Bromo, which we now know as the Tengger Tribe. Some of these inscriptions include the Muncang inscription, found in 902 AD; the Linga Sultan inscription, located in 929 AD; and the Pananjakan inscription, found in 1324 Saka or 1402 AD.</p>

<p>The Muncang and Linga Sultan inscriptions state that the people in the Tengger area have existed since 902 AD. It is said that several villages around the Tengger area have special fief status or sanctified land. Then, it is also described in the Linga Sultan inscription that there is<br>worship by the people in the Tengger region to Mount Brahma (now Bromo). It was carried out every month of Kasada, called the Yadnya Kasada ritual.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-center"><strong>MORE ARTICLES : <a href="https://trippytriptour.com/package-surabaya-historicultural-city-tour/" data-type="URL" data-id="https://trippytriptour.com/package-surabaya-historicultural-city-tour/">Surabaya Historicultural City Tour</a></strong></p>

<p>In addition to being rich in history, the Tenggerese are also rich in traditions and noble values , which are still firmly held by the Tenggerese. Reportedly, at least four traditional ceremonies are held yearly: Yadnya Kasada, Unan-unan, Yadnya Karo, and Pujan Mubeng.</p>

<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Yadnya Kasada<br>The famous Yadnya Kasada is identical to the Tengger tribe. It is a traditional ceremony that depicts the belief of the Tenggerese people towards the spirits of their ancestors who have sacrificed themselves to protect the people in the Tengger area. This ceremony also aims to show gratitude for all God&#8217;s gifts.</li>

<li>Unan-Unan<br>In the Tengger tribe, the activities of alms to the earth or village cleanup are commonly referred to as Unan-unan. This activity aims to grant to nature and those who look after agricultural land and plantations in villages and water sources. And another meaning of Unan-Unan is to free the village from disturbances of bhutakala (spirits) and as a request to avoid disease<br>and be free from all suffering in life.</li>

<li>Yadnya Karo<br>Yadnya Karo or Hari Raya Karo is a ritual and a holiday held for a long time. That is for fourteen days. In Javanese, Karo is loro (two). This ceremony is stored in the second month and is the most extended traditional ceremony in the Tengger community and is held in conjunction with Nyepi Day for Hindus. This traditional ceremony is carried out as a form of gratitude for the Tengger people for the blessings bestowed by Sang Hyang Swayambhu (God Brahma).</li>

<li>Pujan Mubeng<br>Pujan Mubeng tradition is held by all villagers by going around the village with the shaman while hitting the ketipung from the eastern village boundary, around the four corners of the village. This ceremony aims to cleanse the village of all harmful disturbances and disasters.</li>

<p>Not only rich in natural resources, the Tengger people who inhabit the <strong>Mount</strong> Bromo area and its surroundings are also rich in cultural heritage from their ancestors. Its long and centuries-old history brought many values from various cultures in the past. And then acculturated with the current developments, making the cultural diversity of the Tengger tribe able to coexist with the new colors of changing times. Still, it did not eliminate the original color of the Tengger tribe. This makes many tourists interested in visiting to witness the cultural diversity for themselves.</p>
