Every 14th day of Kasada month in the Javanese calendar, ritual offerings or offerings are held for Sang Hyang Widhi (God) and his ancestors, which are performed by the Tengger tribe. In this ceremony, some of the produce of the earth is offered, which is thrown into the crater of Mount Bromo as a sign of gratitude.
