BROMO TUMPAK SEWU

This packages will invite you to explore volcano and waterfalls in two days. Those are the majestic attractions of east Java Island presented. Mount Bromo is one of the active volcanoes in East Java Indonesia which has plenty of attractions such as the golden sunrise along with its fantastic landscape and the Bromo crater itself. The story behind “Sacred” Bromo and the tribe living around the area will also be a unique experience for you to have while visiting this place.

Then, on this package we will also visit to Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls which in Indonesian terms means Thousand Waterfalls. Tumpak Sewu waterfall is also dubbed the Cliff of Nirvana. It is located in Lumajang it takes only 3 hours driving from Malang. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall has natural springs from Mount Semeru. The name Tumpak Sewu means a waterfall that stacks up to a thousand. Not surprisingly, the water seemed to widen, like a tiered curtain. The water flows and falls into a steep valley that extends with an elevation of 500 meters above sea level or about 120 meters. That could be most memorable experience for you to visiting two of highlights in East Java.

ITINERARY

Day 1

Mount Bromo

Bromo National Park is the most popular outdoor activity to do when you visit Indonesia, especially Surabaya or Malang City. From either of those 2 cities, you will reach the destination in 2 hours. Then, we will continue the trip by 4WD Jeep vehicle to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of the most popular Bromo’s Sunrise and the landscape views of Mt. Batok along with the highest mountain in East Java, Mt. Semeru. After witnessing the golden sunrise we move to the next ‘dish’ which is the Bromo volcano itself.

By driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, from the eruption of Mt. Bromo. In a 30 minutes-easy trekking you will get all the way to the tip of the crater and witness the trembling sound from the ‘underworld’ inside the volcano. Then, you will get your breakfast buffet before we off to the next adventure. Drive to Malang city for 2 hours. In Malang we will visit the rainbow village in the central of Malang city.

After exploring the rainbow village (Jodipan) we will drive for hotel check in and rest.

Day 2

Have yourself prepared for Tumpak sewu waterfall right after you take your breakfast. We will drive to Tumpak Sewu waterfalls for 2 hours. From the starting point we will walk to visit the panorama point to capture the majestic panorama of Tumpak Sewu waterfalls. Walk down to get close with the waterfalls itself and get ready to get wet. Enjoy your time below the largest waterfalls in East Java. Afterwards, move to Goa Tetes (Cave) and see beautiful scenery of valleys and group of small waterfalls alongside on the way to Goa Tetes. After finish explore the waterfalls area back to starting point and have lunch in local ‘warung’ ( small local food stalls). Drive back to your drop point (Surabaya/Malang) and see you next trip.

23.30	Pick up from Surabaya/Malang Airport/Train Station/Hotel
00.00 – 03.00	Depart from Surabaya and go to Ngadisari Village.
03.00 – 04.00	Arrive at Ngadisari Village and go with jeep head to Penanjakan hills to see the Sunrise
04.00	Arrive at the Penanjakan and take a coffee break while waiting the Sunrise
04.30	Enjoy Sunrise at Penanjakan/Kingkong Hill
06.00 – 08.00	Driving back down to Mount Bromo Crater area and visit whispering sand for photo shoot of Widodaren valley
08.00-09.00	Trekking to the top of Volcano Crater
09.00 – 10.00	Drive back and have a buffet breakfast at restaurant
10.00 – 12.00	Drive to the Malang city (Jodipan village)
12.00 – 02.00 pm	Explore the Jodipan village or rainbow village
02.00 –	Hotel check in and rest
Day 2
07.00-08.00 am	Time for breakfast and ready to go to the Tumpak sewu waterfall
08.00-10.00	Arrive at the Tumpak sewu waterfall
10.00-02.00	Explore and end enjoying the Tumpak sewu waterfall
02.00-06.00	Drive back to Surabaya. See you next trip!
